Gail Hotz Bay is joyful, enthusiastic and active. Since childhood she would seek out creative, crafty projects to keep busy and stimulate creative energy. (Boredom was not in her vocabulary.) Macramé became an art to her, which expanded into unique jewelry statements inspired by color, texture and infinite design possibilities. She says, “Jewelry is an expression; it communicates character and individuality. All fashion is about how you feel when you wear it.”

Gail spends her summers working and playing in the Colorado Mountains at a youth camp. She offers a free choice jewelry design class to the campers and staff. Gail’s designs are influenced by this natural, playful, active lifestyle. Supported by a degree in Graphic Arts with an emphasis in photography, she has been designing jewelry for seven years.

For the past 25 years, Gail has coached springboard diving in St. Louis, Missouri, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She has also coached high school volleyball and loves to run.

Thanks are due to family and everyone who has encouraged Gail to pursue her jewelry design career.
